STAREABLE FEST GRAPHICS BRANDING
Various Festival Graphics & Brand Integrations
VIDEO EDITOR | ANIMATOR | MOTION GRAPHICS | GRAPHIC DESIGNER | CO-ORDINATOR | CURATOR
Over the course of my company journey from Visual Designer to Branded Content Lead at Stareable, I was instrumental in several brand activations leading up to and during our events/festivals, including:
Dell Technologies/NVIDIA/Intel, AMC Networks, VIZIO, Disney TV Animation, Sony TriStar Pictures, Sony Pictures Television, XRM Media, UTA, Just For Laughs, Pano, WriterDuet, Liquid Death.
Various Festival Production Graphics & Animations I’ve Made
My Festival Branding in Action: Projections, Displays, Step and Repeat Banner
Created both physical and digital elements such as interstitials, step-and-repeats, banners, and monitors/displays to curate a high-energy, fun vibe that features, celebrates, and inspires creators, while communicating value, encouraging future project submissions, and visually representing partner brands at our festivals and sponsored after-parties.
According to reviews from real FilmFreeway users, Stareable Fest ranks in the top 1% of more than 12,000 film festivals around the world.
Festival Space Mockups Example
I can help production and sponsors better visualize an event space or activation with quick mockups. The goal is to provide partners with a starting point for ideation and to foster collaboration. This involves using image manipulation/editing techniques such as masking, superimposing, and playing around with depth, as well as creating original elements as needed.
In the example below, I was tasked with a quick mockup, emphasizing potential alcohol drink partner placement, using photo on the right as our base:
I’ve turned on the lights (bar sign light) and screens in the space, brought life to windows.
Added banners/branding on screen/floor projection.
Added attendees and tables.
Created and added template drink asset (yellow cans and bottles).
We had a library of event photos from our team photographer, Patrick MacLeod, but I am also comfortable sourcing needed imagery from libraries as well.
Various Website/Newsletter Graphics & Animations
In addition to graphics, I was responsible for writing our newsletter copy and have experience writing content for mailing lists of over 10,000 subscribers.
Prior to Stareable, I had experience writing newsletter copy at Y-Combinator backed Jumpcut Academy.
Various Sponsorships and Brand Activations I Helped Execute
VIZIO Ads
Several partnerships with VIZIO that involved me editing video content and creating sizzles for integration into the “VIZIO Tour Bus” and various displays. Creating marketing graphics for VIZIO’s sponsored award: Best Culinary Adventure Show.
Dell Technologies & NVIDIA
Creating marketing materials for Dell-sponsored workshops, including a Photography Lighting Workshop by prolific photographer Mark Mann and an Adobe AI Editing Workshop by Vashi Nedomansky (editorial consultant on ‘DEADPOOL’).
Working with Dell/NVIDIA to create visuals, marketing, and curate nominations for a sponsored award and giveaway: Best Virtual Filmmaking Award. Highlighting independent series using the latest CGI/VFX techniques.
Disney TV Animation
Producing marketing materials for Disney TV Animation-sponsored talks, including AMA with Lisa Fragner, Vice President at Disney Television Animation.
I also ran video for all above events, capturing footage for sizzle reels and future advertising.
UTA
Stareable is represented by UTA, one of the largest entertainment agencies in the world. I created a sizzle reel of Stareable Studios projects (Official Selections signed to package/shop around) for Upfronts. Upfronts is a TV industry event where advertisers buy space on promising, soon-to-be-released TV shows.

Sony Pictures Television
Created early marketing drafts for First Look Deal.
Just For Laughs
Coordinating cross-promotion with Just For Laughs MONTRÉAL Festival, producing design assets.

Early Social Media Ad Drafts
Social Media Editorial Content
I created editorial slideshow/infographic-style content as another avenue for engaging our community and building a brand legacy. The goal was to communicate Stareable’s access (highlighting networking and other value props) and position as an OG in the web series/indie TV space.
